Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully before using ScholarFeedAI.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScholarFeedAI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Desiweb (operating under the trade name ScholarFeedAI), operated by Guillaume SUTTY ("we", "us", or "our"), a sole trader based in France.

2. Description of Service

ScholarFeedAI is a web-based SaaS platform that provides researchers with personalised weekly digests of scientific publications. The Service uses artificial intelligence to:

  • Extract relevant keywords from your research description
  • Query PubMed/MEDLINE for recently published papers matching your profile
  • Generate AI-powered summaries and relevance notes for each paper
  • Deliver a curated digest to your email address every Monday

AI processing is performed via Mistral AI (a European sovereign AI provider). Publication data is sourced from PubMed, a public database maintained by the US National Library of Medicine.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You may not create accounts for the purpose of circumventing trial restrictions or obtaining the free trial more than once.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that we reasonably believe are being used to abuse trial limitations or violate these Terms.

4. Free Trial

New accounts receive a free trial comprising 4 weekly digests at no charge, with no credit card required. The trial period begins when your first digest is generated.

Upon expiry of the free trial, your weekly digests will pause. Your account data, keywords, and past digests will be retained. You may upgrade to a paid plan at any time to resume the Service.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time without notice.

5. Paid Subscriptions

ScholarFeedAI offers two paid subscription plans:

  • Individual Plan - €2.99 per month, billed monthly, for individual researchers.
  • Group / Lab Plan - €2.39 per member per month, billed monthly. Requires a minimum of 5 members. The group administrator is responsible for the subscription and for managing member access.

Prices are in Euros and may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your jurisdiction. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period, after which your digests will pause.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law. If you believe you have been erroneously charged, please contact us at contact@scholarfeedai.com within 14 days of the charge.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service at scale
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, scripts, or harmful content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal usage
  • Circumvent any access controls or security measures

Any violation of this section may result in immediate termination of your account without notice.
