Frequently asked questions

What scientific databases does ScholarFeedAI search?

ScholarFeedAI searches PubMed/MEDLINE, one of the world's largest databases of biomedical and life sciences literature, covering over 37 million citations. We scan for new papers published in the past 7 days that match your research profile.

How are papers selected for my digest?

After you describe your research, our AI extracts 10 specific keywords. Each week, these keywords query PubMed. Papers are ranked by a relevance score based on keyword matches, and the top results are included in your digest with AI-generated summaries.

Is my research data processed by AI models?

Yes, but not just any random one. Your research description and keywords are sent to Mistral AI to generate summaries and relevance notes. Mistral AI is a European sovereign AI company. Your data is processed exclusively on European servers in compliance with GDPR. Mistral AI does not use your data to train its models.

What happens after my free trial ends?

Your weekly digests will pause, but your profile, keywords, and past digests remain saved. Subscribe at any time to resume. We never charge without explicit consent.

Can I change my research keywords?

Absolutely. Head to the Keywords section in your dashboard to add, remove, edit, or toggle any keyword. You can also re-run AI extraction from an updated research description at any time.

When are digests sent?

Every Monday at 7:00 AM UTC. Digests cover papers published during the previous week.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, at any time from your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. No penalties or hidden fees.
